Kick back and skate cart awhile! Carve slopes, grind rails, and chain combos in this little skating playground.

Made in 48 hours for a game jam. There are some problems with the movement!

My high score (with minimal cheesing): 85,579

This game is so charming with the 2d art for the main character, as well as the ability to build up velocity going down ramps. I hope to continue to play this, and I earnestly am confident I'll be able to get the high score. I originally thought the score was tied to getting snapple, but with some trial and error I realized it was more connected to the tricks being performed! This definitely has a fun art style that I can see making it worth playing now and again, with it easy to pick up and down due to the small window of time each session lasts.

I cannot wait to see what else you guys produce! I've been following along with the little doodles of 'kelvin' for a long time, and I sincerely am excited for your future projects and endeavors! All three of you really did an amazing job putting this all together.

thank you so much you're too kind!! a much needed comment for me tonight aha. we've been forced to go separate ways unfortunately because of life things but I will treasure the team, this game, and its creation forever.

and don't give too much thought to the high score! the only way to get a "good" score is to cheese the game and therefore skate poorly so just kick back and enjoy the slopes B)

This is a bunch of fun, and it sure seems like you had fun making it! I love that the trick names continue to elongate while you hold the trick: it's the kind of detail that's funniest when it first happens, then again once you've realized the text has careened off-screen! I picked up the keyboard controls pretty quickly, and the amount of sloped terrain gives the player lots of time to acclimate to the functionality of movement! The aesthetic is appropriately charming and scrappy, too: exploring around is worth it for the different graffiti tags to find!

Congrats to everyone on the team! (We'll see if anyone has the skills to beat the current high score, though it certainly won't be me and my measly ~6,000 points!)
